Michelle Sandlin is an award-winning writer, journalist and relocation industry expert. Since 2013, she has received much recognition as a weekly columnist for the Houston Chronicle.  Her “On the Move” column focuses on a wide variety of topics related to the real estate market, global workforce mobility trends, the economy, and general information and advice for people and companies that are relocating.

Her work is also frequently featured in Worldwide ERC’s Mobility magazine, and in various business and industry related publications and corporate blogs.  She has also written feature articles for the Houston Business Journal and The Business Journals.

As a leader within the relocation industry, Michelle has been recognized many times for her achievements. In 2016, Worldwide ERC presented Michelle with the Mobility Editorial Achievement Award in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the professionalism of the global workforce mobility industry. She also received a Distinguished Service Award in 2016, and a Meritorious Service Award in 2012, in recognition of her dedicated service and significant professional contributions to Worldwide ERC and the global workforce mobility business community.

Originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, Michelle has been calling Houston home since 1985. She studied Journalism at LSU, and later earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism from the University of Houston.
